FAQ
What is Extrait de Parfum?
Extrait de Parfum is the most concentrated form of a fragrance. While Eau de Toilette usually contains 5–15% perfume oil and Eau de Parfum around 15–20%, an Extrait sits at the top of the scale. At Fragrance District, that's 30% perfume oil — which is why "Extrait de Parfum" is on every bottle.
How long does an Extrait de Parfum last?
As a rule of thumb, six to eight hours, often longer with many scents. The high perfume oil concentration is the main reason an Extrait lasts noticeably longer than an Eau de Parfum or Eau de Toilette. How long it actually lasts on your skin also depends on your skin type, the climate, and the specific fragrance.
What sizes are the fragrances available in?
50 ml and 70 ml, depending on the fragrance.
Which countries do you ship to?
Switzerland, Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom — all from one catalogue.
What does shipping cost?
Exact amounts and the threshold for free shipping vary slightly by country — see the shipping policy for the details that apply to you.
Can I return a fragrance?
Yes, as long as the bottle is sealed or unopened. The exact time limit and the hygiene-related exceptions for opened perfumes are set out in the right of withdrawal — the rules differ slightly by country.
